ST. JOSEPH'S TEACHERS' COLLEGE Invites applications for the following position: Laboratory Technician (EIGS/AS 3) 💰Basic Salary:$2,190,302.00 (1st point) – Band 5

Responsibilities

• • Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems, software systems, printers, scanners, etc.
• • Monitor and maintain computer systems.
• • Prepare evaluations of software or hardware and recommend improvements or upgrades.
• • Evaluate utility of software or hardware technologies.
• • Provide recommendations to others about computer hardware.
• • Recommend changes to improve computer or information systems.
• • Keep abreast of technological trends including webcasts and forums to maintain knowledge of hardware and software.
• • Conduct scheduled maintenance upgrades.
• • Station staff directly by troubleshooting and solving problems face-to-face or over the telephone.
• • Troubleshoot issues with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, One Drive, and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• • At least three (3) years’ hands-on experience in troubleshooting software systems and networks in a Microsoft networked environment.
• • Be familiar with working in a LAN/WAN environment.
• • Have five (5) CSEC subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English Language.
