Duty Manager

Summary

Reporting to the General Manager, Depot Operations, the Duty Manager will be responsible for directing and managing the entire night operations, including bus operations, maintenance, cash office, and other related systems and processes, to ensure that service standards and operational objectives are met. The JUTC is a limited liability company incorporated under the Companies Act of Jamaica and owned by the Government of Jamaica (GOJ). Reporting to the Ministry of Science, Energy, Telecommunications and Transport, the JUTC, effective April 01, 2025, will be providing public transit services in the western region, servicing the parishes of Trelawny, St. James, Hanover, Westmoreland, and St. Elizabeth. The Company will deliver public transport services seven days a week and, in some instances, up to 16 hours a day. We, therefore, invite suitably qualified persons to fill the following posts for its Montego Bay Depot, effective April 01, 2025. 💰Salary: $6,300,000 JMD per annum payable monthly, and related benefits.

• • Excellent organizational skills and must be detail-oriented.
• • Good judgment in emergency and other stressful situations.
• • Exceptional time management, task delegation, and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies or equivalent qualification.
• • Three (3) years' working experience as a middle manager in operations or a related field.
