Assistant Quality Assurance Technician

Summary

The incumbent is responsible for collecting data and completing reports regarding QA activities which are used in ensuring that production output and process comply with applicable standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• • Perform random quality checks on various products.
• • Perform pre-operational sanitation checks and activities.
• • Perform temperature checks on products and processing rooms.
• • Analyze water sample using test kit.
• • Ensure that soap dispensers, sanitizers and foot baths are replenished.
• • Perform swab test on equipment.
• • Observes work practices to ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, HACCP and Good Personal Hygiene.
• • Effect corrective actions whenever there are deviations.
• • Collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve the needs and expectations of the company.
• • Prepare accurate daily reports on ALL checks made.
• • Conduct training to create and maintain a quality and food safety culture.
• • Any other duties that may be assigned.

Required Skills

• • An effective communicator with the ability to prepare and present data and reports.
• • Strong analytical skills

Qualifications

• • Training in ISO quality management systems, HACCP and GMP.
• • At least 2 years of experience in quality control.
