Project Coordinator
Summary
A proactive Project Coordinator responsible for managing construction project schedules, resource allocation, and team collaboration, ensuring timely and efficient project execution while mitigating risks and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
As an Project Coordinator at JTRS, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- • Preparation of project schedules in keeping with the general contractor's timeline of work.
- • Coordination of human, equipment, and material resources on site in keeping with construction schedules
- • Coordination with the internal engineering team, external sub-contractors, and MEP consultants to identify site issues and develop corrective plans of action when necessary.
- • Creating and/or responding to punch items, observations, and RFI's when necessary
- • Minimise exposure by identifying and correcting project issues to mitigate quality, safety, financial, and schedule risks.
- • Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and uploaded to the project's online database by the appropriate stakeholders. (includes drawings, procurement & logistics documentation, equipment & material submittals)
- • Coordination with the procurement and logistics team to ensure precise planning of the delivery of equipment and raw materials to the site.
Required Skills
- • Technically inclined to understand construction drawings and explain project scopes of work related to ventilation & air conditioning systems, work methods, and procedures.
- • Possess strong leadership, analytical, organizational, communication and problem solving and decision-making skills.
- • Excellent oral and written communication.
- • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
- • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
- • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
- • Familiarity with business and financial principles.
- • Demonstrated knowledge working with MS Suite (Excel, Word, Projects, PowerPoint)
Qualifications
- • Three+ years of experience in Project Management or similar role.
- • PMP certification is a plus
- • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
