Contract Manager

Summary

Responsible to analyze, coordinate, negotiate and secure multi-year uninterrupted supplies of selected materials and services in Red Stripe at competitive cost and quality compliance through the implementation and management of Heineken Global Procurement Synergies. Implementation and monitoring of contracts with suppliers and agency at Red Stripe level, and monitoring of supplier performance by establishing, following, measuring and observing KPIs and service levels so that contract compliance is guaranteed and operational problems are solved. Contract Duration: One (1) Year: January 2025 to February 2026

Responsibilities

• • Develop and implement category and sourcing strategy for both Red Stripe managed spend and global by providing data, and sharing Red Stripe developments with the Global procurement teams.
• • Conduct research on market developments, price and cost developments by applying cost models
• • Monitor market developments and internal supplier performance
• • Tender and negotiate contracts for Red Stripe managed spend
• • Implement and deliver all contract management activities for spend categories within span of control
• • Generate materials required for updating contracts
• • Ensure up-to-date and correct purchasing data and related information for own focus area in the information systems

Required Skills

• • Strong understanding of contract management, purchasing and supply chain
• • Project Management experience would be an asset
• • Proactive in identifying and solving problems/issues
• • Have the ability to quickly form working relationships, gain credibility and influence solutions.

Qualifications

• • University degree in business, finance, commercial, economic or technical discipline or the equivalent qualified by experience
• • Professional qualifications such as CPSM/CPM would be an asset
• • 3-5 years of experience in Purchasing / Procurement, preferably within a FMCG company
