
Certified Forklift Operator
Summary
We are a leading Food Manufacturing Company in Kingston seeking to identify a competent, certified Forklift Operator to Join our Team.
Responsibilities
- • Operate forklift and other equipment to pack, load and off-load goods/items
- • Ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods from one location to another
- • Ensure the appropriate documentation for the transfer of goods from one location to another
- • Adhere to quality, food and health & safety procedures
- • Identify and report defects in products/equipment
- • Work harmoniously with other departments and other support teams
- • Operate within standard regulatory guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications
- • High School Diploma or Certificate
- • Forklift Operating Certification
- • 2 years' forklift operating experience
- • Possess good organizational, time management skills with excellent hand-eye coordination and peripheral vision

Safely and efficiently discharge and load container vessels, discharge/load containers/break bulk cargo, execute work queue instructions, transport containers on the Terminal strictly adhering to the Terminal’s speed limit, traffic flow regulations and other safety and operations standards, stack/unstack containers. Achieve set KPIs per work shift. Assist with the training of KFTL employees as required by management.
