Summary

We are seeking a Senior Accountant - External Audit to join our KATE team, offering significant growth potential, career development, and the possibility of secondment to Cayman or the USA. Responsibilities

  • • Support the launch of new, client facing capabilities, such as Living Labs and other technology through focused and deliberate project management efforts
  • • Manage multiple projects from start to finish and track progress to help ensure deadlines are met, including project planning and execution, resource management, time and budget management as well as communication and reporting
  • • Drive project team meetings, including the development of agendas (sent in advance) and notes with all decisions, owners and due dates afterwards
  • • Develop cohesive project plans for the project team built within Monday.com and send regular reporting to designated leaders
  • • Manage changes to project scope, objectives, or requirements, assess their impact, and implement appropriate change control processes.
  • • Lead and manage project teams, provide guidance, support, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • • Identify and assess project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and implement measures to minimize the impact of risks on project outcomes
  • • Provide and/or assist with training of new joiners on in-scope tasks, refresher training/ upskilling of team members according to Client’s standard operating procedures
  • • Gain advanced knowledge of the Client’s policies, procedures, and applications
  • • Work with the Growth & Strategy Functional Manager to identify and resolve operational / delivery related issues and escalate any issues or risks identified
  • • Contribute to, encourage and support the development and evolution of process improvement through innovative ideas and develop practices for the organization to leverage by identifying process gaps, etc.
  • • Work with the client team to ensure standard operating procedures (SOP) documents accurately reflect the way the process is performed at KJESS, updating each time a process change is administered (policy change, improvement, etc.)
  • • Assist the KJESS Growth & Strategy Functional Manager in cultivating productive relationships between operational teams, functional, and program related stakeholders
  • • Any other duties as may be assigned by your reporting Manager or the Business.

    • • Analyze needs of business partners
    • • Establish relationships and credibility with business partners.
  • Stakeholder Management - Capable of building strong professional relationships with the ability to influence all levels across the organization. The Project Manager, Ignition Support will:

    • • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal peers and other colleagues, in ways that help to deliver the strategy, not just your personal objectives
    • • Develop and maintain a good understanding of stakeholder issues across key activities. Use this to maintain key strategic relationships.
  • Administrative Support – Performs and facilitates execution of administrative activities and procedures for the operation of an office or facility by:

    • • Managing correspondence and communicating organizational information to appropriate parties, as required
    • • Preparing and/or updating reports, correspondence, and other documents
  • Project Management - Creates and maintains an environment that guides a project to its successful completion:

    • • Understands and is able to coordinate, prioritize and manage project timeline or deliverables
    • • Understands the risks involved in starting a project and tracking project risk
  • Speaking and Listening – Effectively present and receive information and concepts, in both written and oral formats. Actively listen to ensure understanding:

    • • You understand and can discuss the application and implications of changes to processes, policies, and procedures in this area.

Qualifications

  • • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, from an accredited educational institution
  • • Minimum five (5) years of project management experience is required
  • • Experience managing direct reports is desired
  • • PMI Certification is a plus; Agile/Scrum certification is desired
  • • Experience managing project coordination for technology related solutions is a plus
  • • Comprehensive knowledge of full lifecycle project management including project management deliverables, processes, and techniques
  • • Ability to make decisions autonomously ​

About KPMG

The G&S Ignition Support resources are responsible for performing various tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures provided by the Client’s Ignition Center team including, but not limited to scheduling scoping calls, client interviews and meetings, Lead Partner/account team debriefs, client debriefs; report monitoring, lead tracking, qualifications (Quals) management, mailbox management, request tracking, onboarding, project management; while coordinating with resources from multiple business departments to achieve production objectives within scheduled time frames. The Project Manager – G&S Ignition Support primarily reports to the KJESS Functional Manager but will also take operational guidance from the Senior Manager and other Growth & Strategy client team members who are accountable for supported work.
