Summary

The IT Security Specialist is crucial for protecting the corporate network from unauthorized access and security breaches. This involves monitoring and detecting abnormal activity, responding to potential threats, and analyzing security risks. The specialist will implement mitigation strategies, manage and maintain firewalls and intrusion detection systems, and contribute to IT Security governance processes and documentation, ensuring that all IT systems comply with corporate security policies.

Responsibilities

• • Storing all equipment in a safe and secure environment.
• • Assisting with the maintenance of equipment, ensuring that all items are in optimum working condition.
• • Distributing equipment to the assigned technical or creative personnel.
• • Ensuring timely retrieval of equipment.
• • Facilitating efficient rotation of resources.
• • Maintaining up-to-date inventory of equipment secured for use by the Production Department.
• • Ensuring that proper documentation is utilized for the distribution and retrieval of equipment.
• • Performing the task of a VTR Operator, Technical Operator, and Audio Operator where applicable.

Required Skills

• • Demonstrable skill in handling state-of-the-art video/film equipment.
• • Creativity and flexibility.
• • Good interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• • A Certificate in cinematography or comparable equivalent.
• • 5 CXC subjects including Mathematics & English Language.
• • At least two (2) – three (3) years’ experience in television production.
• • Good interpersonal skills.
