Regional Photo Shop Team Leader - Couples Negril & Swept Away

Summary

Plans, leads, controls, and coordinates the sales of the organization’s products and services by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manages nine non-supervisory employees, and carries out supervisory responsibilities following the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Supervision:

  • • Oversee and manage photography teams at two hotel locations.
  • • Train, mentor, and motivate staff to enhance photography skills, sales techniques, and customer service.
  • • Schedule and allocate staff effectively to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.
  • • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback for professional development.

• Guest Experience & Service Excellence:

  • • Ensure guests receive high-quality, memorable photography experiences.
  • • Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • • Maintain a welcoming and engaging atmosphere in all photo shop locations.
  • • Promote personalized photo experiences to enhance guest satisfaction and drive sales.

• Sales & Revenue Management:

  • • Drive sales by implementing effective upselling strategies for photography packages and printed products.
  • • Monitor sales performance and set achievable targets for each location.
  • • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotions and special offers.
  • • Ensure accurate pricing, discounts, and transactions at all outlets.

• Photography Standards & Quality Control:

  • • Maintain high standards for image quality, editing, and printing.
  • • Ensure consistency in brand aesthetics and photo presentation.
  • • Conduct regular quality checks on photography equipment, ensuring proper maintenance.
  • • Stay updated on industry trends and introduce innovative photography techniques.

• Operations & Inventory Management:

  • • Oversee daily photo shop operations, ensuring all locations run smoothly.
  • • Manage inventory of photography equipment, printing supplies, and promotional materials.
  • • Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance, repairs, and product restocking.
  • • Ensure all photo shop outlets comply with safety, security, and hotel policies.

• Marketing & Collaboration:

  • • Work closely with hotel management, events teams, and marketing to maximize photography opportunities.
  • • Develop partnerships with other hotel departments (e.g., weddings, excursions, entertainment) to promote photography services.
  • • Organize seasonal promotions, themed photoshoots, and special events to increase guest engagement.

Required Skills

• • Proven experience in photography, retail sales, or team management in a hospitality setting.
• • Strong leadership and people management skills.
