Agronomist

Summary

We are seeking to recruit an Agronomist with the right combination of skills and experience to ensure that customers are provided with sound technical advice by conducting field or lab experiment with the aim of improving crop yield. He/she will work closely with other Agronomists and Sales Consultants in making recommendations in order to drive sales of the company's products.

Required Skills

• • Expert knowledge of agricultural technology, soil sampling techniques and research skills.
• • Good knowledge of the company's core products.
• • Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills.
• • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with persons at all levels.
• • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel.

Qualifications

• • B.Sc. Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science or any other related field from a recognized institution.
• • At least two (2) years' experience as an Agronomist or in the agricultural environment.
• • Must possess a valid general driver's licence for a minimum 2 years.
