Payroll Supervisor (Finance, Corporate)

Summary

The Social Development Commission, a dynamic statutory organization engaged in facilitating empowerment of citizens in communities thus enabling their participation in the National Development process, invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the following temporary contractual position (Contract will be for six months): Payroll Supervisor (Finance, Corporate) Under the general direction of the Director of Finance the Payroll Administrator is responsible for: a. The preparation of payrolls for the Social Development Commission (SDC) b. Ensure sufficient funds are in the salary bank account c. Upload salaries ensuring that they are paid on time d. Ensure payments of personal and statutory deductions to the relevant institutions are made e. Preparation and Submission of monthly and annual returns 💰Salary: $4,266,270 to $5,737,558 JMD per annum

Required Skills

• • Good human relations and communication skills (written and oral format);
• • Good organizational, time-management skills and high level of initiative and flexibility.
• • Working knowledge of ACCPAC Plus and spreadsheets.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• • Minimum of four (4) years in general accounting/payroll accounting.
• • Proficiency in financial Reporting and sound knowledge of international Financial Reporting Standards.
