Summary

Are you a highly organized and creative individual with a passion for marketing and a knack for making things happen? The Mona School of Business and Management (MSBM) is seeking a vibrant Administrative Assistant to play a crucial role in supporting our dynamic Marketing Department, engaging Executives in Residence, and contributing to our Centre for Excellence. This is your opportunity to be at the heart of our promotional and marketing efforts, directly contributing to exciting initiatives across branding, advertising, marketing collateral, digital channels (email, web, social media), and impactful events.

Responsibilities

  • Be a key player in the planning and coordination of engaging marketing and promotional events.
  • Provide vital administrative support to the Marketing Department.
  • Contribute to the success of diverse marketing projects across various platforms.
  • Support the impactful work of our Executives in Residence and the Centre for Excellence.
  • Keep our marketing initiatives running smoothly with exceptional organizational skills.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in basic design programmes.
  • A solid understanding of social media tools (Facebook, IG, Twitter).
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Banner.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, and both written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superb multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Integrated Marketing Communications with 2+ years in marketing, including graphic design and event planning.
  • Proven knowledge of event planning and office procedures.
  • Familiarity with online systems and meticulous records management.
  • Bonus Points:

    • Familiarity with MSBM and UWI policies, regulations, and programme offerings.
