Landscaper

Summary

The incumbent is responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and enhancement of outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• • Assist with the installation of landscape features such as plants, trees and shrubs,
• • Perform routine maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, weeding, and fertilizing.
• • Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• • Possess an unquestionable character, and a disciplined work ethic
• • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
• • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• • Ability to work outdoors in very warm and sometimes cool conditions.
• • Ability to work extended hours and often times on weekends

Qualifications

• • Three (3) CSEC subjects including English Language and a numeric subject.
• • Level 1 or 2 HEART training in Landscaping is an asset
• • At least 1 – 2 years experience in landscaping or a related field preferred along with knowledge of plants, trees, and landscaping techniques.
• • Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
