
Sales & Marketing Officer - The Children’s Own (CONTRACT)

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Officer to join our team and play a crucial role in promoting and selling our publications, with special attention to The Children's Own publication.
Responsibilities
- • Promote company publications across all channels, focusing on The Children's Own sales.
- • Conduct direct school visits.
- • Develop and implement marketing strategies.
- • Organize promotional drives and workshops independently and alongside the Marketing Department, Regional Sales Coordinators, Field Sales Coordinators, and other relevant teams.
- • Ensure The Gleaner Company maintains a dominant market presence.
- • Plan and execute revenue-driving initiatives.
- • Conduct market surveys and provide insightful feedback.
- • Deliver excellent customer service ensuring efficient sales and delivery
- • Monitor and oversee delivery routes, ensuring timely and effective service to agents, schools, and vendors.
- • Develop delivery contingency plans as needed.
- • Strengthen relationships with sellers by offering support and maintaining a strong presence at events and functions.
- • Prepare accurate, timely reports with recommendations to enhance sales performance.
- • Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- • General accounting knowledge.
- • Ability to critically analyze market data and make informed recommendations.
- • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Qualifications
- • First degree or diploma in Management, Marketing, or Sales.
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software.
- • Experience in marketing and account management.
- • Valid Driver’s License and a reliable motor vehicle.
- • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- • Excellent command of the English language.
- • Familiarity with the different parishes.
