The Board of Management invites suitably qualified persons to apply for the following post: Farm Manager

Responsibilities

• • Manage and supervise all aspects of farm operations, including crop production, livestock management, and farm maintenance.
• • Develop and implement agricultural plans that align with educational programs and sustainability goals.
• • Coordinate with faculty and students for hands-on learning opportunities and projects.
• • Monitor farm resources and ensure efficient use of labour, equipment, and materials.
• • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• • Manage farm budget and procurement of supplies.
• • Maintain farm records and produce regular reports.

Qualifications

• • A degree in Agriculture or a related field (Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture or related field).
• • Minimum of 3 years of experience in farm management or a similar role.
• • Proven ability to manage teams and work collaboratively with students and staff.
• • Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and modern agricultural technologies.
• • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
