
Loss Prevention Officer
Summary
Sangster’s Stores is seeking to hire a Loss Prevention Officer (LPO) for one of our retail locations. This hands-on role supports the Branch Manager by ensuring a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and store assets.
Responsibilities
- • Oversee opening and closing procedures in line with company standards
- • Monitor access and exit of customers and employees
- • Verify customer receipts against purchased items for accuracy
- • Conduct continuous in-store surveillance to prevent, detect, and apprehend shoplifters
- • Identify, report, and help resolve safety issues, inventory loss, theft, and cash handling concerns
- • Provide customer service aligned with company standards
- • Conduct routine inspections to ensure physical security of the facility
- • Enforce company safety and security policies
