Vending Sales Coordinator

Summary

The Newspaper Distribution Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient distribution and sales of The Gleaner publications, overseeing vendor activities, cash collections, and compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities

• • Distribute The Gleaner Publications, including contracted publications, and collect sales proceeds from vendors.
• • Ensure all financial transactions align with distribution records and unsold inventory.
• • Remit sales proceeds and vendor returns to the Supervisor in the Arcade at The Gleaner Office daily.
• • Make cash lodgments to The Gleaner cashiers in the Accounts Department, as required.
• • Monitor vendor stock levels of newspapers and paraphernalia, ensuring adequate supply.
• • Submit daily sales and activity reports, including manual label completion and data sheet updates.
• • Investigate vendor service concerns, promptly reporting discrepancies or issues affecting sales and delivery.
• • Enforce compliance measures related to vendor attire and professional presentation.
• • Record and check off returns from vendors accurately.
• • Ensure vendors adhere to payment obligations and assist in addressing outstanding balances.

Qualifications
