
Client Relationship Associate
Summary
Give prompt and accurate information, process financial transactions and policy changes speedily and accurately through superior service. Provide assistance within the Client Data Management Unit to process member data received for personal accident, voluntary benefits, direct marketing, individual life, group life and health portfolios which includes, but not limited to, enrolment, terminations and member updates. Assist in the timely preparation and dispatching of correspondence, life certificates and health cards
Responsibilities
- • Process policy changes via the workforce management system (P360) and provide feedback to internal and external clients as appropriate.
- • Perform routine membership reconciliation with member data received from group listings to identify and process additions, cancellations, plan transfers and reinstatements.
- • Assist with maintaining plan files for school mate, church mate, personal accident, voluntary benefits and direct marketing, group health and life portfolios.
- • Assist with the billing and payment process by ensuring that data reflected on the invoices for each client is correct.
- • Prepare manual invoices as required, by virtue of amendments not reflected in the computer files, or changes done after the system date.
- • Communicate with clients by telephone and in writing to ensure the timely payment of premiums and discuss and resolve administrative issues.
- • Sort and maintain temporary current files for enrolment forms, correspondence, payment/salary listings and purge on a quarterly basis.
- • Prepare monthly reports for submission to immediate supervisor as requested.
- • Perform any other related duties assigned from time to time.
Required Skills
- • Excellent interpersonal skills.
- • Sound time management, human relations, and communication skills.
- • Proficiency in the use of computer software packages such as word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- • Keen attention to details.
Qualifications
- • An Associate’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing or a related discipline from a recognised Institution.
- • At least two (2) years’ working experience in the life insurance industry.
- • Successful completion of the HIA (Parts A & B) and LOMA (Parts 1 & 2) would be an asset.
