Maintenance Technician - Longsville Park

Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out schedule preventative maintenance task, preoperational checks and repairs not limiting to the area assigned in order to maintain a safe and efficient Plant.

Responsibilities

• • Perform a wide variety of maintenance-related repairs and services (refrigeration, electrical, mechanical)
• • Complete Daily Pre-operational checks.
• • Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled
• • Monitor and maintain all Plant systems as assigned
• • Responsible for alerting Maintenance Supervisor on duty of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur
• • Ensure safety standards which comply with all company guidelines are adhered to
• • Ensure Continued SAFETY of one’s self, fellow employees, customers and Equipment.

Required Skills

• • Highly motivated and able to work independently
• • Knowledge of local workplace compliance regulations, ordinances and legislation
• • Strong communication and problem solving skills
• • Excellent time management and project management skills
• • Strong attention to detail

Qualifications

• • At least 3 years’ experience in a related field
• • Post-secondary education and/or a Technical Trade Certificate/Diploma in the electrical, mechanical, welding or plumbing fields
