Recruitment Assistant (Waterloo)
Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Recruitment Assistant to support our staffing needs. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping to find top talent for various positions across our locations. Responsibilities
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
- • Assist in various stages of recruitment process for retail roles across company locations
- • Post jobs on internal and external recruiting platforms.
- • Review resumes and schedule screenings for qualified candidates.
- • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate progress and notes during recruitment process.
- • Communicate professionally with candidates regarding application status and interview details.
- • Provide support at hiring events, job fairs, and other recruitment
- • Assist with reference checks, scheduling job knowledge testing and other
- • pre-employment processes.
- • Assist with reference checks and ensure completion of all required pre-boarding documentation
- • Facilitate the scheduling of exit interviews
- • Aid in retrieving data from ATS to generate reports
Required Skills
- • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- • Excellent customer service , communication and interpersonal abilities.
- • Familiarity with ATS software
- • Technical competency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Googledocs),.
- • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- • Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role
- • Minimum 1 year recruitment experience
- • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- • High Volume recruitment experience is considered an asset
- • HRIS experience is considered an asset
