Responsibilities

  • Operate delivery trucks to transport goods efficiently to customers and retailers in the assigned region.
  • Conduct inspections and routine maintenance checks on the vehicle before and after each delivery.
  • Load and unload shipments, ensuring items are secured for transport and that deliveries are made in good condition.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, including shipment manifests and customer signatures.
  • Communicate with dispatch and management regarding delivery schedules, routes, and any issues that arise during transport.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Resolve any customer complaints or issues related to deliveries promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is clean and maintained according to company standards.
  • Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishments as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong time management and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a delivery truck driver.
  • Familiarity with the Western Region and local roads.
