Human Resources Manager
Summary
The Human Resources (HR) Manager plans, administers, co-ordinates and reviews the functions of the Human Resource Department in keeping with the company’s objectives. Makes sound recommendations and decisions that will facilitate continuous improvement and the achievement of objectives and goals. In the capacity of Head of Department it is expected that leadership and development of staff members will be demonstrated.
Responsibilities
- • Deliver outstanding carrier and driver experience.
- • Use internal resources to gather data and conduct relevant analysis.
- • Schedule and assign drivers to various routes.
- • Track and monitor the progress of deliveries.
- • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- • Generate Reports as required.
- • Handle administrative tasks related to the dispatch operation.
- • Resolve issues and address inquiries from drivers and customers professionally and promptly.
- • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or in a related discipline.
- • At least five (5) years’ experience working as an HR professional with at least three (3) years' experience at the management level.
- • Proficiency in the principles and application of the following areas: 1. Human Resources Management & Development 2. Industrial Relations 3. Jamaican Labour Laws.
- • Proficiency in the use of computer software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint - Good supervisory and motivational skills
