Responsibilities

• • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products and materials to designated areas within the warehouse.
• • Load and unload goods from containers and trucks, ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently.
• • Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions or safety issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• • Maintain a high level of accuracy in inventory management, ensuring that all items are correctly placed and counted.
• • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment, ensuring a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
• • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding material requirements and any issues that arise during operations.
• • Assist in performing routine maintenance checks on equipment, reporting any needed repairs to management.
• • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and movements as necessary.
• • Participate in training programs as required for skill and safety enhancement.
• • Perform other related duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth operation of the warehouse.

Qualifications

• • High School Diploma or equivalent
• • Valid Forklift Operator Certification
• • At least 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting
