
Senior Collections Specialist
Summary
As a Senior Collections Specialist, you will conduct outreach on complex customer accounts, focusing on customers with a history of late payments or non-responsiveness. You will utilize specialized negotiation tactics, supervise and train Senior Officers, and serve as a point of contact between leadership and the team. Your role is crucial in ensuring performance targets are met and customer accounts are managed effectively.
Responsibilities
- • Conduct outreach related to complex customer accounts.
- • Train Senior Officers on collection techniques and technology use.
- • Utilize specialized negotiation tactics for challenging customers.
- • Supervise Senior Officers and ensure performance targets are met.
- • Act as a point of contact between leadership and Senior Officers.
- • Prioritize and follow up on accounts for timely resolution.
- • Track performance metrics and provide coaching support.
- • Collaborate with the Manager to refine collection strategies.
- • Mentor Senior Officers by sharing best practices.

Qualifications
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- • Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting, accounts receivables, and/or collections, with at least 2 years in people management.
- • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
