Business Development Officer

Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to support the development, deployment, and management of digital products and services across the Caribbean. Key responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive digital growth and regional expansion, developing and testing innovative business strategies, and operationalizing new products. The role also involves managing product performance, reporting results, providing business development support across markets, driving business growth, and overseeing a network of digital service stores.

Responsibilities

• • Provide support to develop and execute group digital business development strategies, drive revenue growth and expand our digital customer base.
• • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.
• • Conduct research and prepare proposals and business cases to secure opportunities identified.
• • Collaborate with project teams for the development and deployment of digital products.
• • Oversee a network of digital service stores, ensuring they meet business objectives and deliver exceptional customer service.
• • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and optimize product offerings.
• • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
• • Provide regular reporting on digital product performance and market trends.

Required Skills

• • Analytic skills, ability to examine performance levels and forecast targets based on trend analysis and other external information.
• • Ability to conduct impact assessments and analysis.
• • Proficiency with MS Office.
• • Commercial awareness and innovativeness.
• • Exposure to supervisory development training.
• • Ability to work as part of cross functional teams.
• • High level of customer orientation.
• • Highly developed networking and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies or related discipline with an emphasis on Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis.
• • Minimum three (3) years’ related experience.
• • Knowledge of digital services and payment systems.
