Summary

Under the general supervision of the Client Care Supervisor and the Senior Vice President, Sales and Services, the Client Care Representative is responsible for assisting prospective and existing Barita customers. The role involves handling incoming calls to the call centre and supporting clients through various digital channels. The aim is to provide exceptional service that fosters customer retention and drives sales of all Barita product lines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist callers and those who contact us through the digital channels with questions about Barita’s products and services (Online chat, social media, Emails).
  • Help to resolve client issues where possible or ensure that the relevant staff aids them.
  • Follow up on client queries with an email containing the information requested.
  • Keep up to date with products and services through attending research meetings and refresher meetings.
  • Assist callers with Barita online issues and liaise with the tech team to find resolutions.
  • Communicate difficult cases to the supervisor and complete complaint forms where necessary.
  • Enter information on each call in the log and update HubSpot appointments accordingly.
  • Ensure timely resolution of client queries via email.
  • Complete weekly outbound task which includes call appointments and online onboarding follow ups.
  • Process request and assist clients who utilize digital platforms such as Jtrader, Online onboarding, Barita Online and Barita Boss.
  • Process redemption and subscription request along with equity orders for all branches received by email and Barita Online.
  • Assist with processing Boss applications during special offers.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of Barita and its products and services.
  • Excellent problem solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure and navigate tense situations, especially during busy hours
  • Proficiency with technology, especially computers, software applications, and phone systems
  • Knowledge of Barita’s values
