Production System Development Officer

Summary

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of: PRODUCTION SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT OFFICER in the Projects Department at our Ewarton Works location, St. Catherine

Responsibilities

• • Providing information and recommendations for production system improvements, quality, and customer service standards.
• • Reviewing and amending existing Production System elements and practices to improve refinery operational availability, reliability, and efficiency.
• • Standardizing work areas and implementing production system approaches regarding equipment maintenance.
• • Managing the implementation of Business System projects to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce losses.
• • Developing a system of continuous improvement for departments through analysis of key KPI indicators based on the strategic goals of the Plant.
• • Coordinating the involvement of Company personnel in kaizen activities, including the replication of best practices, methods, approaches, and improvements.
• • Tracking project progress, providing updates, and ensuring the timely completion of development tasks.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• • Minimum three (3) years' working experience in the Bauxite/Alumina Industry.
