Production Supervisor

Cal's is seeking a Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

Ensure all provisions are met for a smooth workflow on the factory floor, including:

• • Requisition raw and packaging materials from inventory
• • Coordinate shifts, arrange schedules, and organize staff for production lines and activities
• • Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
• • Monitor production lines, inputs, finished products, line changeovers, defects, and product release
• • Verify batch codes
• • Monitor employee performance to ensure achievement of production targets
• • Report non-conformances in production activities
• • Ensure production meets health, safety, sanitation, quality, and food safety standards set by the company, food industry, and government agencies
• • Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures

Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s Degree in Supervisory/Production Management or its equivalent
• • Experience supervising in a food production/manufacturing environment for at least 2 years is preferred
• • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
• • Valid Food Handler's Permit & a recent Police Record
