Summary

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site health assessments for participants focusing on basic health metrics.
  • Administer tests for:

    • Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure, Blood Cholesterol, Vision, Hearing, B.M.I (height, weight, waist), Pregnancy, Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Electrocardiography (E.C.G).
  • Collect and record accurate and confidential health records for each participant.
  • Travel to different client locations to provide on-site health services.
  • Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of workplace wellness programs and health promotion.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member to administer tests with minimum direct supervision.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Ability to use basic digital tools to capture and report data.
  • Working knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certification in Practical Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Must have gone through official practical nurse training whether during or after course of study.
  • Must be in or have worked in the healthcare system.
  • Experience in conducting health assessments and administering basic health screening tests.
  • CPR Certification is desired but not required to start.
