Logistics Officer

Summary

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Logistics Officer and be responsible for driving logistics activities to ensure the efficient and effective flow of inbound and outbound shipments.

Responsibilities

• • Initiating and coordinating logistics activities related to procurement to ensure the smooth flow of outbound shipments.
• • Developing and maintaining professional yet amicable relationships with team members, customers, and service providers.
• • Consulting and providing advice on import and export documentation and procedures to ensure compliance with established laws and regulations.
• • Assisting in maintaining and storing all customs-related documents for audit purposes.
• • Advising stakeholders of any significant changes to customer orders that may impact the total order value.

Required Skills

• • Knowledge of SAP software is considered an asset.
• • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• • A good understanding of commercial and business principles.
• • Good commercial and business understanding
• • Strong communication skills to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders.
• • Proficient in the use of computers and related software applications.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management & Logistics or related field
• • At least five (5) years of working experience in the same or related field
