Summary

Adlinc is seeking a resourceful, energetic and articulate Recruiting and Administrative Specialist who will support tasks for Adlinc and our clients. The Recruiter/Administrator is responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding qualified independent contractor drivers while also managing essential administrative tasks. Duties include full-cycle recruitment, driver database management, compliance adherence, and operational support. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as point of contact between existing and potential Adlinc clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring client satisfaction
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their hiring requirements and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Compose and post job ads on various job boards including posts for post independent contractor driver (IC)
  • Screen independent contractor driver applications and conduct phone interviews
  • Manage Accusource account and IC driver profiles
  • Schedule initial meetings and onboarding sessions
  • Establish relationship with Compliance and Vendor Management Company (Veroot)
  • Setup IC driver in the Transportation Management System; CXT
  • Monitor and ensure IC document and update Veroot and CXT accordingly
  • Conduct weekly driver activity reviews to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor driver insurance status and notify Independent Contractors of lapses
  • Coordinate monthly Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks with Risk Strategies
  • Assist with new hire orientations
  • Handle daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide regular updates on existing processes or introduce new processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Implement and manage driver retention programme

Required Skills

  • The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills and will have the ability to partner closely cross-functional teams
  • This person should be process-focused, highly organized, energetic, detail-oriented, a problem-solver, and exhibit sound judgment
  • Must have well-developed applicant sourcing, screening and behavioural interviewing skills
  • Ability to make sound screening and hiring decisions, independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Focused and proactive approach to work tasks
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Professional communication style, presentation and solid business acumen
  • Ability to maintain a high sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy and details
  • Acts with high integrity, including handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Must be a team player who is flexible and able to work outside of regular work schedule when needed
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years recruiting experience
  • Must possess technical aptitude including proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and job boards
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems is a plus
  • Experience in a BPO environment is a plus
