Mechanical Project Engineer

Summary

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of: Mechanical Project Engineer in the Projects Department at our Ewarton Works location, St. Catherine

Responsibilities

• • Provide Mechanical engineering designs for projects as assigned by the Project Manager, in accordance with the project procedures and relevant engineering standards, to achieve required technical quality, and in conformance with agreed budget of engineering hours and schedule.

• Preparing all technical documentation required for the execution of the mechanical aspects of projects including but not limited to:

  • • Specifications for procurement of mechanical equipment and materials.
  • • Technical information for the production of Design Drawings; Construction and/or Fabrication Drawings.
  • • Technical Reports inclusive of feasibility studies, equipment failure analysis etc.
• • Manages all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring their completion accurately, efficiently, and on time to the required quality, while also coordinating with stakeholders and managing resources.
• • Coordinate all project elements including development of budgets, plans, work schedules and other technical activities relating to the project.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accepted university.
• • Minimum three (3) years' working experience in Mechanical/Piping Design and Construction.
• • Expert Knowledge of mechanical technical principles, theories and concepts.
• • Project management skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
