UX Researcher (3-Month Contract)

Summary

Collaborate with cross-disciplinary team members to conduct user research for various Sagicor Products. Work and adapt in a fluid, fast-paced environment to assist in the development of large-scale digital innovation projects for consumer brands and enterprise clients. Responsibilities

• • Develop presentations, reports, personas and standards that meet existing and newly developed procedures and regulatory requirements.
• • Facilitate usability testing sessions, user research, user testing and workshops for developing and ongoing products.
• • Use findings from research methods to communicate to product teams, as it relates to the best methods of implementation.
• • Report weekly on research process to design leads/managers.
• • Apply methods to analyse, synthesize research data and interpret data accurately.
• • Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for Product Designers and business stakeholders.
• • Plan and conduct various user research and testing methods.
• • Effectively undertake associated tasks such as participant recruitment and scheduling, producing test materials, setting up test environments/labs, analysing, and delivering findings.
• • Collaborate with Product Designers by applying research findings to help create exceptional wireframes, process flows, mock-ups and other design documentation.
• • Facilitate evaluative research studies and support Product Designers in the creation of strategic deliverables.
• • Actively contribute to UX Research processes, documentation, and repositories and help maintain and promote the participant database.
• • Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.

Required Skills

• • Experience executing various user research and user testing methodologies.
• • Experience using analytics to influence decisions.
• • Understand user research methods, when to use them and how to apply them correctly. This may include, but not be limited to usability testing, user interviews, focus groups, surveys, field studies and competitor analysis.
• • Proficiency in the use of computer software packages such as word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s Degree in either Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Market Research or equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
• • At least two (2) years’ working experience as a UX Researcher or Researcher in another industry.
• • A very strong research portfolio.
