Summary

The Senior Mechanic/Garage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the mechanical and electrical technicians, ensuring they execute their tasks according to the daily operational needs. You are expected to supervise the technicians, ensure the highest service standards are being upheld, safety protocols are being followed, efficiency is optimal, and to reduce the turnaround time on repairs of the company's equipment & vehicle fleet. The Industrial Support Technician Supervisor is expected to be an excellent communicator at all levels and demonstrate strong leadership skills, leading from the front while being a servant leader.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in people management, performance management and assessment
• Create and maintain systems that promote the efficient operations of the industrial garage
• Impeccable leadership and communication skills

Qualifications

• Three years' experience as a Senior Mechanic/Garage Supervisor
• Formal automotive training
• JAGAS certification a plus
Minimum three years' experience in maintenance of equipment such as:
- • Excavator
- • Backhoe
- • Skid steer
- • Articulated lifts
- • Rollers, etc.
