Technical Support Manager (Corporate)
Summary
The Social Development Commission, a dynamic statutory organization engaged in facilitating empowerment of citizens in communities thus enabling their participation in the National Development process, invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the following temporary contractual position (Contract will be for six months): Technical Support Manager (Corporate) The incumbent under the supervision of the Director, Property and Administration is responsible for planning, designing and executing various ICT integration and innovation initiatives to support the Social Development Commission’s technical and administrative functions and data communications facilities that support its internal and external linkages with stakeholders. The incumbent will also be required to analyze user requirement, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system compatibilities, workflow and scheduling limitations 💰Salary: $4,266,270 to $5,737,558 JMD per annum
Required Skills
- • Good human relations and communication skills (written and oral format);
- • Good organizational, time-management skills and high level of initiative and flexibility.
- • Working knowledge of ACCPAC Plus and spreadsheets.
Qualifications
- • A BSc. Degree in Computer Science or relevant field or equivalent;
- • At least five (5) years’ working experience in the related field.
- • Five (5) years’ experience in a management position
- • Prior experience in managing information systems at several locations (intranet /internet )

Special Conditions Associated with the job:
- • Work will be conducted in an office outfitted with standard office equipment and specialized software. The environment is fast paced with on-going interactions with critical stakeholders and meeting tight deadlines which will result in high degrees of pressure, on occasions. May be required to travel locally and overseas to attend conferences, seminars and meetings. Should own and operate a reliable motor vehicle.
