Summary

Barita Investments Limited invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the role of Junior Business Analyst in our Project Management Office. Reporting directly to the Senior Business Analyst, the Junior Business Analyst will support project managers and stakeholders by gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and assisting in project documentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management methodologies and business analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the work of internal and outsourced business analysts working with the PMO.:

    • • Work alongside the Senior BA to understand approaches to BA activities & game plans to complete work
    • • Support assignments to members of the insourced/outsourced BA team as required
    • • Support the monitoring and tracking of work assignments for BA resources
    • • Training to gain skills in the Business Analyst domains
  • Execute Business Analyst functions for projects and initiatives as assigned.:

    • • Business cases, road maps, strategies
    • • Requirements documentation
    • • Game plans &solution designs for complex work
    • • User Acceptance Testing – documentation, test design, test execution
    • • Deployment planning (support)
    • • Data migration planning & execution
  • Support the development of Business Analysis Capacity in the company:

    • • Participate in training and knowledge exchange exercises
    • • Support communication to the business on the project portfolio
    • • Design templates, reports and other documentation as necessary

Required Skills

  • • Sound knowledge and understanding of regulatory, and reporting requirements
  • • Sound analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • • The ability to influence and work closely with stakeholders and spearhead initiatives
  • • A track record of following through on commitments.
  • • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • • Knowledge and/or experience working on Agile teams would be an asset
  • • Competency in Microsoft Office suite of products

Qualifications

  • • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or related field, or an MBA.
  • • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • • Business Analysis or Project Management Certification a plus, should be attained in the course of job duties
  • • Experience working in the Financial sector is a plus
  • • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
