Manager - Account Management
Summary
Strong systems skills; solid customer service, F&A, collections, credit analysis, analytical and negotiating skills; effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to thrive under pressure. Proactively manage risk, anticipate potential issues, and implement appropriate mitigations.
Responsibilities
Managers in this role get to: ⮚ Strengthen relationships: Establish and maintain communication with clients and/or team members; understand needs, resolve issues, and meet expectations. ⮚ Impact the bottom line: Produce solid and effective strategies based on accurate and meaningful data reports and analysis and/or keen observations. ⮚ Improve the company: Make recommendations to enhance processes and boost ease and efficiency. ⮚ Define Sutherland’s reputation: Oversee and manage performance and service quality to guarantee customer satisfaction. ⮚ Empower the workforce: Determine training needs to equip staff with fundamental skills and knowledge.
- • Oversight of all financial and related activities of the team
- • Analyzing, Planning, evaluating, implementing and continuously improving all aspects of program
- • Addressing ongoing client’s complaints and work with team close all open items
- • Direct interaction with selected clients in resolving receivables delinquencies
- • Oversee & initiate automation efforts for the above activities to maximize resource efficiency, improve internal controls, and/or improve policies ie SOPs, suggest strategies and report on the same
- • Leadership of a team with a focus on talent development
- • Handling Internal / External queries are addressed effectively on time
- • Responsible for effective Knowledge Transfer of Activities from clients to Team Members
- • Client’s Key Stakeholders / SMEs must always be apprised of program performance, through the timely completion and submission of all requested program reporting
- • Implement/Support Process Improvements
- • Involve in Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Review calls and update team on action items
- • Interact and Coordinate with support functions
- • Adherence to Control and Compliance
- • Other duties as assigned by Management
Qualifications
- • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, ACCA or equivalent with over 7 years related experience (Master’s Degree is a plus)
- • At least 10 years of work experience in the same industry with 5 years of management and leadership experience
- • Process transformation experience required - Strong analytical skills; be able to interpret data, identify trends, and make suggestions for improvements - Demonstrated leadership skills; be able to take the lead in making improvements and resolving issues - Ability to efficiently manage time and keep track of multiple schedules, meetings, and initiatives - Strong verbal and written communication skills; be able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner - Excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications
- • Strong client-facing, communication and presentation skills; ability to assess and anticipate client needs and instill confidence
- • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- • Excellent analytical skills with strong ability to problem solve and proactively improve upon existing processes
- • Medical equipment industry experience a plus
