Senior Sourcing Coordinator
Summary
Responsibility to ensure the efficient, effective and continuous supply of materials and services in line with KFTL’s procurement mission. Management of the processing of inventoried and non-inventoried procurement requests from various Departments for approval in accordance with company policies, rules and procedures (PR to PO process).
Responsibilities
Strategy Definition:
- • Provide an input in the development and implementation of the Procurement strategy and policies.
- • Analyse a variety of information and data from multiple operational sources in order to support Procurement in making informed decisions about supply.
- • Analyse the performance of direct reports and monitor against set KPI’s and, when necessary contribute to the definition of the KPIs.
- • Support the Procurement Manager in negotiating best total value for all categories
- • Implement and execute process to ensure supplier relationships derive the best value
- • Ensure that items purchased meet KFTL specifications and requirements
- • Effective management of the categories, ensuring 100% compliance in internal and external audit and other procurement governance KPIs
- • Supervise the execution of the PR-PO process in keeping with the agreed KPIs
- • Conduct Category overview showing spend and volumes by supplier
- • Ensure service level for key suppliers is maintained at 70% (On-time delivery in full)
- • Ensures the proper training of new staff and other personnel as required, in conjunction with the Procurement Manager and HRD
Required Skills
- • In depth knowledge of fundamental purchasing practices, procedures and policies
- • Knowledge of purchasing computer applications
- • Strong negotiation, team & Supplier Relationship Management skills
- • Strong data analysis, communication, multitasking, planning, organizing, prioritization capabilities
Qualifications
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies, Procurement Management or Supply Chain Management
- • 3 - 5 years’ working experience in procurement
- • Certification/training in supervisory management
