Retail Store Merchandiser - Montego Bay

Summary

Stock and organize merchandise, ensure accurate pricing and product quality, assist customers, and support inventory management while maintaining brand standards and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• • Stock shelves, counters, tables & refrigerators with the product, to promote sales
• • Ensure all shelves & bottles are properly dusted and cleaned to reflect the brands’ image
• • Ensure the appropriate prices and bar codes are affixed to products/bottles
• • Inspect products for expiration dates
• • Transfers product, from the main warehouse and ensure that all requisite transfers correspond with what is posted to the system
• • Facilitate customers concerns, regarding the location of the product, price, and use of merchandise
• • Inspects merchandise prior to wrapping to see that it is in satisfactory condition and verifies items with invoiced quantity for all purchases
• • Pick items for presales deliveries and ensure that items are handed over to the main warehouse and the log sheet signed by a Warehouse Supervisor/Manager
• • Give feedback to Store Cashier and Manager as to customer queries and concerns
• • Report items to be written off to the Supervisor

Qualifications

• • Five (5) CXC’s including Mathematics and English
• • Must possess a valid Food Handler’s Permit
• • Must attend all inventory counts
• • Must attend meetings/training as requested
