Summary

The Machine Operator is responsible for duties that support the production process; in addition to general ancillary functions inside and outside the factory. Reports to: Production Supervisor / Assistant Manager for Production and Logistics

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading of the tank moulds, adjustment of varying techniques regarding temperature of the mould to produce quality tanks on tank assigned
• Making of septic tanks and piping structure of septic systems, inclusive of welding on an as-needed basis
• Assist in taking products/items over to Quality Control Division for inspection
• Ensuring resin containers are kept full
• Empty bins, maintain work area according to Factory/OSHA standards and clean work station after shift
• Ensure tanks are properly fitted with clean covers
• Pack tanks neatly in yard and storage areas
• Assist in cutting up spoilt tanks on an as-needed basis
• Attend training as per various changes to machines/mould in order to adjust to changes as technology changes
• All other duties assigned by supervisors
