Business Operations Analyst

Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the strategic planning functions by assisting with the development, implementation and monitoring of corporate strategies and programs to improve efficiency of the Refinery.

Responsibilities

• • Conducts research to analyze the external environment to identify new and emerging trends and determine potential threats and opportunities.
• • Prepares presentations, briefs, and reports for various stakeholders.
• • Assists with the coordination of the annual strategic planning process.
• • Prepares company performance reports with analysis of factors affecting performance.
• • Establishes and maintains databases of information deemed useful to the organization, such as key performance indicators, crude and product prices, etc.
• • Provides support and guidance to departments on planning and performance monitoring.
• • Conducts special studies as required, including performance, financial, and economic analysis.
• • Participates in business process improvement projects.
• • Assists with the preparation of the annual report.
• • Assists with the facilitation of quarterly performance review meetings.
• • Prepares quarterly and half-yearly performance reports for relevant ministries.

Qualifications

• • First Degree in Sciences or Engineering or Management Studies equivalent.
• • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar capacity
OR
• • Diploma Sciences or Engineering or Management Studies
• • A minimum of six (6) years' experience in a similar capacity
