
Senior Process Compliance and Documentation Officer
Summary
The Senior Process Compliance and Documentation Officer will support the Barita Financial Group's efforts to document, manage and maintain its procedures. The aim is to ensure consistency, compliance, efficiency, and risk sensitivity in how business processes are recorded and updated.
Responsibilities
Project Management:
- • Develop and implement a procedure regularisation plan across departments.
- • Introduce standard documentation tools and practices across the Group.
- • Work with department heads to identify procedure owners and reviewers.
- • Lead the implementation of a group-wide procedure regularisation initiative.
Quality Control:
- • Set and maintain governance standards for procedure creation, approval, and version control.
- • Use a risk-based model to prioritise procedure development and updates.
- • Define categories for procedures (e.g. critical, operational, compliance-related).
- • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- • Support the design and modelling of optimised processes.
Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management:
- • Work with HR, IT, Compliance, Risk, and other departments to integrate procedures into daily operations.
- • Support training sessions to help staff understand and use procedures.
- • Function as the main contact for department heads regarding procedure updates and progress.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- • Monitor procedure documentation progress across departments.
- • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leaders.
Qualifications
- • Degree in Business Administration, Operations, Risk Management, or a related field.
- • Project management certifications (such as PRINCE2 or PMP) or a process certification (such as Lean Six Sigma) are highly valued for this position.
- • Relevant professional designations including CAMS, CRMA, CIA, or CISA are considered advantageous.
- • At least 5 years of experience in business process analysis, design, or modelling, operational risk, internal controls, or documentation governance.
- • Experience working across departments on organisation-wide projects, preferably in financial services.
- • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead documentation initiatives.
- • Experience writing procedural documents.
- • Experience with documentation systems or knowledge management tools
