Unit Manager

Summary

We're hiring a results-driven Unit Manager to lead and develop a team of Life Insurance Salespeople. Your role is to recruit, coach, and manage performance to meet and exceed sales targets, while ensuring quality service delivery and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

As an integral part of our Finance Department, the Accountant will:

• • Recruit, train, and supervise a high-performing team of Life Insurance Salespeople
• • Set clear sales goals, monitor individual and team performance, and implement strategies to close gaps
• • Conduct joint client visits to support the team in sales presentations and prospecting
• • Deliver ongoing coaching, sales training, and guidance on product knowledge and use of digital tools
• • Ensure timely submission and quality of new business applications and supporting documentation
• • Monitor team portfolios, including policy deliveries, arrears, and lapse listings
• • Oversee team certification and registration processes with FSC and JAIFA
• • Identify opportunities for new business through group presentations, networking, and referral channels
• • Represent the company at marketing events and community outreach activities
• • Prepare and submit monthly reports on team activity, sales performance, and business development efforts

Qualifications

• • Undergraduate degree (Business, Finance or Marketing preferred)
• • OLT & Equity-Linked certification (preferred)
• • Minimum 2 years' experience in life insurance sales
• • Strong leadership, coaching, and analytical skills
• • Availability for occasional travel and flexible hours
