Summary

Jamaica Aggregates Limited is seeking to recruit suitable candidates to fill the position of Business Analyst. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process, customer billing integrity, sales tracking across multiple systems, trucking and raw material haulage cost management, and cash flow oversight. This role ensures financial accuracy, alignment of key revenue and cash processes, and strong internal controls across multiple plant locations. The position requires close collaboration with Sales, Plant Operations, Finance, and Logistics teams to drive efficiency and financial accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Order-to-Cash (O2C) Oversight:

    • • Manage and oversee the end-to-end order-to-cash process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
    • • Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on overdue accounts, and implement strategies to improve collections.
    • • Strengthen internal controls to prevent revenue leakage and unauthorized transactions.
  • Ticket Monitoring & Customer Billing Accuracy:

    • • Supervise ticketing processes across four (4) plants, ensuring that all dispatched loads are properly recorded and billed.
    • • Validate and reconcile tickets against sales orders, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
    • • Work with plant and sales teams to address missing or erroneous tickets and ensure billing accuracy.
  • Sales Tracking & System Reconciliation:

    • • Monitor and align sales data across two independent tracking systems, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
    • • Investigate and resolve sales data discrepancies between systems in collaboration with IT, sales, and finance teams.
    • • Generate sales performance reports, identifying trends and variances.
  • Trucking & Raw Material Haulage Billing & Accruals:

    • • Oversee trucking and raw material haulage cost management, ensuring proper tracking and reconciliation of vendor invoices.
    • • Validate haulage and trucking billings against contracts and actual deliveries.
    • • Prepare and manage accruals to ensure proper recognition of haulage expenses in financial statements.
  • Cash Flow & Treasury Oversight:

    • • Review and analyze cash sales transactions, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of daily deposits.
    • • Monitor and control petty cash floats across multiple locations, ensuring compliance with financial policies.
    • • Assist in daily cash flow forecasting and treasury risk management, working with the finance team to optimize liquidity.

Qualifications

  • • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • • 3+ years of experience in financial operations, treasury, or revenue assurance roles, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or aggregates industries.
  • • Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes, reconciliations, and financial controls.
  • • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, APEX, Command Alcon) and financial reporting tools.
  • • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
