Technical Support Officer (Temporary)

Responsibilities

• • Participate in the design, review, and upgrade of applications
• • Provide 1st tier user support to users on application-related issues within defined Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• • Develop and maintain training material and process documentation for business applications
• • Assist in troubleshooting software and hardware issues
• • Install, coordinate, and troubleshoot applications
• • Perform data audits and quality control measures
• • Recommend and execute application modifications to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance
• • Review and implement vendor-supplied application patches

Required Skills

• • Knowledge of SAP functionality would be an asset
• • Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business problems
• • Customer service oriented
• • Proficiency in computer and software applications for data gathering and statistical analysis
• • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• • Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems
• • Proven ability to grasp technical concepts
• • Excellent interpersonal skills
• • Excellent written and oral communication skills
• • Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science and/or Business
• • At least 2 years of experience working in the Information Technology industry
