Laboratory Technician

Summary

Jamaica Broilers Group Limited is seeking a self-motivated and action oriented individual who will execute tasks in a timely and efficient manner, to achieve quality analyses and excellent record keeping, to fill the above position.

Required Skills

• • Knowledge of Biochemistry/Food Microbiology;
• • Knowledge of laboratory techniques and practices;
• • Experience in laboratory research would be an asset;
• • Sound time management skills;
• • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite;
• • Flexible to working on contract and on weekends/holidays;

Qualifications

• • A Degree in Medical Technology or Food Microbiology from a recognized tertiary institution;
• • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a Laboratory environment would be an asset.
