Contract Attorney

Summary

We seek a Contract Attorney to drive contract reviews and negotiations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams and our legal counsel to expedite deal closures, support long-term relationships, and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• • Collaborate with sales teams and clients to expedite deal closures, secure favorable terms, and foster long-term relationships with US clients.
• • Review, mark up, and negotiate contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs, ensuring compliance with business priorities, parameters, and timelines.
• • Manage multiple deals and negotiations simultaneously while communicating openly with stakeholders.
• • Develop contract playbooks, templates, and approval workflows to enhance legal operations and minimize bottlenecks.
• • Work with our legal counsel to navigate complex legal issues and ensure adherence to the state of California law requirements.
• • Lead the contract lifecycle by monitoring key deadlines and ensuring timely renewals.
• • Provide legal reviews and advice across supply, talent, compliance, and partnerships business units.

Qualifications

• We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • • Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent. An LLM in the US is preferred.
  • • 3+ years of experience in contract negotiation, legal operations, or corporate compliance.
  • • Strong proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal (C1-C2).
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • • Familiarity working with cross-functional teams in a business environment.
  • • Interest in learning about the world of AI and data.

• While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • • Experience negotiating contracts with U.S.-based companies.
  • • Exposure to navigating the U.S. legal system.
  • • Familiarity with global AI regulations.
  • • Understanding of data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • • Expertise in using contract management software.
