Handyman (Level 1) - Head Office
Summary
Under the supervision of the Asset and Property Manager, the Handyman is responsible for providing efficient caretaking support to maintain the Commission's daily operations. The incumbent supports organizational functions and events while ensuring professional and timely maintenance of all Commission buildings. 💰Salary: $969,653 - $1,304,075 JMD per annum
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- • Conducting regular internal and external building inspections to identify repair needs
- • Delivering and arranging tables and chairs as requested
- • Setting up and dismantling equipment and supplies for events
- • Installing branding materials at events
- • Performing minor maintenance tasks and building repairs
- • Assisting with pickup and delivery of items
- • Facilitating access for external workmen and maintenance crews
- • Relocating office furniture and equipment as needed
- • Loading and unloading delivered goods
Qualifications
Four (4) C.X.C. or G.C.E. subjects at general proficiency level (Grades I-III), including:
- • English Language
- • Mathematics or Accounts
- • Secondary level education
- • Certificate in Customer Service (preferred)
- • Minimum three (3) years of relevant work experience
