
Co-op Processor (Contract) - Revenue Operations and Payment
Summary
Process Group (salary deduction) payments in an accurate and timely manner. Provide support in locating and posting salary payments to ensure client satisfaction. Ensure that any inaccuracies and discrepancies in the posting of client payments are resolved in the shortest time possible to facilitate the effective operation of the department and the achievement of the goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
Reconcile and process salary deducted payments in a timely manner.:
- • Reconcile listings and cheques received from clients with previous month’s record.
- • Investigate exceptions arising from the reconciliation process and take the necessary corrective actions.
- • Update computer records with changes and pay outstanding bills.
- • Browse system records and action updates based on policy status changes, written requests and discrepancies in allocations.
- • Prepare and submit journal vouchers to correct any misallocation of payments via audit/ processing and for policies that are coded or to other co-ops within the specified time frame.
- • Clear the platform; Global 360 with the salary deduction forms, action forms and remittances.
- • Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.
Required Skills
- • Sound human relations and time management skills.
- • Working knowledge of insurance policies and processes.
- • Ability to communicate effectively.
- • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Qualifications
- • Minimum of six (6) CSEC general proficiency subjects including Mathematics and English Language.
- • Successful completion of LOMA (parts 1 and 2) or other industry related designation.
- • At least two (2) years working experience including one (1) year in an operations division of a life insurance company.
