
Administrative Assistant
Summary
The successful candidate will provide technical and administrative support to the Manager, Human Resource Development & Administration. The incumbent's role includes conducting research, preparing reports, scheduling appointments, document management, and taking minutes.
Responsibilities
- • Carries out surveys and research exercises from time to time on matters pertaining to the HRD&A function at the request of the Department Manager.
- • Ensures the efficiency of office procedures, which will enhance the effectiveness level and quality of service of the HR&D Department.
- • Responds to incoming correspondence appropriately, as well as composing and typing of general correspondence.
- • Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities, records and transcribes minutes of meetings.
- • Implements, monitors, and records document management system.
- • Prepares monthly reports for submission to the Manager, Human Resource Development & Administration Department.
- • Assists Department in preparation of annual budget.
- • Recommends innovations, procedures, etc. that will enhance departmental operations, company image/profitability, and employee well-being and productivity.
- • Maintains a good knowledge of Petrojam policies and procedures and update of Employment Law.

Qualifications
- • A Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business or Office Administration.
- • A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a similar capacity.
